Some good stuff Kent. Another problem is lifestyle. Many don’t have the time to take hunting seriously. Their lives are focused on other stuff, some necessary, some not. If hunting isn’t the main focus, or near the top, a person has nothing or no one to blame but themself. People find all sorts of lame excuses why they can’t do something because they can’t establish priorities.

Ah I see what your getting at now AG. Thanks for the clarification.
Whitetail is king here in GA as well. It’s the easiest accessed game. Basically they’re everywhere. Deer hunting continues to bring in new and young hunters here in Ga, but there are no new bird hunters. A handful of ppl here still FT but that’s all done with pen birds and very rarely do they actually hunt. Waterfowl numbers here are very slim but just enough to keep a handful of ppl interested. Public land here is a joke though. I don’t really care what you’re in pursuit of. I personally refuse to hunt public land/water impoundments.
