Teach springer to point?

Is it possible to train a springer to point?

I think a person could train a springer to point as easy as a person could teach a lab to point, I have seen a lot of them flash point. The one thing that you have remember is because of the flushing bloodlines you will have to keep this dog close. And because you have to keep the dog close you will not cover the ground that a good GSP would be able to. I want you to remember, Pointing springers can not compete in AKC events. Ron
