Charles Rose

Charles Rose has had shorthairs since '69. His birddog experience ranges well over 25 years! He was educated in Texas at Tarleton State Universtiy in wildlife management and field biology.

The foundation of Charles' kennel is the Dixieland Rusty bloodline and he currently raises about 2 litters a year and uses shorthairs in all aspects of his business.

Charles trains about ten dogs at a time to varying levels. Aside from bird dog training, he has also trained working stock dogs for range cattle, feedyard, hog work, and gathering wild horses.
